Dear Readers Bishoftu is one of the largest cities in Oromia Region and has received the title of Regio polis during the reforms carried out in the last two years. Therefore, a prosperity journey plan has been prepared to implement the government policies and strategies to achieve socio-economic activities in the city. In this publication, socio-economic data have been attempted to show where the development growth of the city is going. Furthermore, I would like to state that this profile provides a concise way of development and the implementation of sectors. this socio-economic profile of the past two years has been organized in a quality and understandable manner and contains future directions.
